JD is a transplant to San Antonio from Rockport, Texas. She is a classically trained vocalist with a Bachelor’s of Music in Music Education with an emphasis in choral pedagogy. She hopes to help YOSA maintain an environment where students can be themselves and love music of all kinds. JD loves a lazy Saturday morning, when she can read next to the fire and spend time with her husband, Joemichael, and their three dogs, Canyon, Lucy, and Taco. If she’s not at home, she’s either at work or at Disneyland.
